A string of 13 Canadian dates have been confirmed for Ron's tour schedule. Beginning on October 1 in Vancouver, Ron will be making his way through BC, Alberta and Ontario, ending in Kitchener on October 23.

Ticket information is still to be announced, but keep an eye on the Tour page for updates.

During the Lowe Common Denominator panel at SXSW yesterday, Ron performed a cover of his favourite Nick Lowe song, "Where's My Everything."

Ron is in Austin this week for the annual South By Southwest Music Conference. He's got a busy week lined up, including participating in a few panels and playing a number of showcase sets. He'll also record a new set for Daytrotter (stay tuned for more info that). Here's a summary of where Ron will be:

Tomorrow (March 13), Ron will take part in the "Lowe Common Denominator" panel, discussing his legendary pal Nick Lowe, starting at 3:30 pm. On Thursday he'll take part in the Grammy Museum's Beatles panel at 12:30, followed by a set at KDHX St Louis' Twangfest at 3:30.

Friday will see Ron perform on KDRP at 1 pm, followed by sets at the Paste Party at 3 and the Sorted Nose party at 5, wrapping things up for the day with a performance at the Grammy Museum Beatles Tribute, kicking off at 8 pm.

Finally, on Saturday, Ron will take the stage at midnight for his official showcase at the Victorian Room Driskell Hotel.

Tickets are on sale now for Ron's newly-announced date at Chicago's City Winery on April 11, part of a series of US dates next month that will also see Ron stop in Philadeplphia, New York City and Boston.

Last night in London, Ron headlined the world famous Royal Albert Hall for the first time. Now comes word that Ron will return to the UK for a series of five shows this spring, kicking off June 17 in Birmingham.
