    Beware t-shirt sizing !!!

I ordered a 'ladies medium' size new t-shirt and what arrived would be tight on a seven year old. The store has ignored my emails on the subject and the website carries a warning that nothing can be exchanged unless there's another invasion of Poland, or something akin to that. So, be warned. If you want a shirt for a medium sized lady, I suggest you order 'large' or a man's size.

If anyone encounters ANY problem with something ordered through the store, we will make every effort to make it right. In this case, they will be in touch with RIAFT regarding an exchange of sizes.

Regarding the size of the shirts, thanks for pointing that out... ladies sizes do tend to run small and are cut to be more form fitting. Men's are roomier and have a more boxy cut.

Thanks  -- I was feeling a little fat when I got my shirt and could barely get it over my head.

Thanks for the warning.  I would have ordered a medium, myself.  This saves a lot of trouble.

I had ordered  a XL size before this warnings were published, and when it arrived I´ve found that is Elephant Size¡¡¡¡¡, is very very BIG. Here in spain we call this size XXL...It´s a shame

    Thanks

    Re: Beware t-shirt sizing !!!

I ordered a women's XL-Shirt from the shop, and it fits - and it's a little tight around the chest.

But since I'm not really fat I do agree that it's a pity that the sizes are a little misleading ... maybe S should be called XS and so on - and it would be nice to have a "real" XL-size for girls, too.

Anyway, last night at the concert in Frankfurt I wore my shirt - and was obviously the only one in the audience. It felt good ............ Big Smile

    Re: Beware t-shirt sizing !!!

I made the same mistake with the sizing of the t-shirt when I got it at the Massey hall show.  When I tried it on later I thought that I surely have to shed some pounds.  I don't know what to do with the shirt except to save it for my nine years old daughter. I'm assuming that you cannot return something that you bought at a show? That was a lesson for me to check out the fit before I leave the concert.  I made sure I did it on Saturday when I purchased a t-shirt at the Wilco show Rochester.
