I like what Ron had to say.  Seems like people love to slot other people sometimes.  Bill Murray reference = hilarious.  Ron is the funniest man on earth.  I remember Bill singing  "Starwars......"  on SNL.  hahaha....thanks for the memories

Now that's a useless link, Daryll...nothing there about Mr Murray - and it seemed to stall this machine for a few minutes....

    Very good, hilarious!

Bill Murray is unknown over here (UK), I think. But great stuff, yes!

    Hey Chris,

Bill has been huge here in North America since his days with Second City comedy troupe and then Saturday Night Live TV show days in the late 70's and early 80's, but I doubt that show has ever made much impact in the UK, if it ever played there at all.  He's made some really classic movies though - Stripes, Meatballs, Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, Tootsie, Scrooged, and 2 of my favs, Groundhog Day and What about Bob.

    Best Regards

    Ian

Ian, I did see Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day, and I do recall Saturday Night Live on tv, a long time ago...

But somehow I can't connect the Bill Murray of the 'Meatballs clip' with these.  Oh well, I'll look out for his stuff in future - thanks (and thanks to Daryll).

    Hey Chris,

regardless of how great Bill is, I still think the very best comedians in the world come from the UK!!! (I may be biassed, having grown up with John Cleese and Faulty Towers, Benny Hill, Monty Python, Spike Mulligan, Are You Being Served, etc., etc).

I'm with you, Ian, especially regarding TV shows..."Fawlty Towers" and...what was it, "The Young Ones"? I also like "Keeping Up Appearances."

    Ditto, Ian, Slim.

But that Bill Murray clip was a piece of sublime madness!

OK, if Chris, a Murray newbie, liked that much, I need to go see it!
